Short answer
Type vwo.com into a browser today and you land on wingify.com. A rebrand like that is a natural moment to review your testing tool. Some teams will stay, since Wingify still sells web experimentation and says customers do not have to start over. Others will compare prices and features first, and this list is for them.
VWO announced in January 2026 that it was combining with AB Tasty, backed by Everstone Capital, with VWO co-founder Sparsh Gupta as chief executive of the combined company. In September 2026 the combined company launched a single brand, Wingify, and a single platform covering experimentation, personalization, customer insights, commerce optimization, feature management and customer engagement, with an embedded AI called Wingz. Both vwo.com and abtasty.com redirect to wingify.com, and the site still offers separate logins for Wingify and AB Tasty accounts.
Wingify says customers do not have to start over. Its web experimentation plans are Growth, Pro and Enterprise, and pricing is custom, based mainly on monthly active users, with a free trial.
Each alternative had to run A/B tests on websites (or, for PostHog, in products) as an independent company, be sold to new customers in October 2026, and describe its features on its own site. We read each product page, plan name and published price on the vendor's site in October 2026 and checked for mergers. AB Tasty is left out because it is now part of Wingify. We did not run paid trials.
| Alternative | Best for | Behavior analytics included | Pricing (as of October 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Optimizely | Enterprises that want testing, AI agents and a CMS | Separate Analytics product (warehouse-native) | Individually packaged; request a demo |
| Kameleoon | Teams that want AI-built web tests | None listed on its plans page | Starter from $495 a month; Enterprise custom |
| Convert | Teams that want published prices and VWO migration | Convert Signals and heatmaps | From $299 a month billed annually or $399 monthly |
| Adobe Target | Adobe Experience Cloud customers | Through Adobe Analytics (separate product) | Not published on Adobe pages we read |
| Zoho PageSense | Small teams, including Zoho users | Heatmaps, session recording, funnels, form analytics | Free plan without testing; A/B testing on Enterprise, by monthly tracked users |
| Crazy Egg | Small teams that start from heatmaps | Heatmaps, recordings, surveys | A/B testing from Plus, $99 a month billed annually |
| PostHog | Product teams testing in the app | Product analytics and session replay | Free monthly allowance, then usage-based |
Optimizely's Agentic Experimentation runs visual-editor and server-side tests, multi-page and multivariate tests and bandits, with its own Stats Engine, real-time personalization and AI agents that plan and report on experiments. Feature Management covers rollouts for product teams.
Pricing (as of October 2026): every plan is individually packaged; request a demo. Strengths: testing and personalization at enterprise scale from one vendor. Limits: no public prices, so it does not solve a pricing-transparency problem. Our list of Optimizely alternatives covers the other direction.
Kameleoon builds variants from a chat prompt with Prompt-Based Experimentation (PBX), with sequential testing, holdouts and sample ratio mismatch detection on Starter. Personalization, feature experimentation, mobile app testing, a code editor and bandits are extra capabilities.
Pricing (as of October 2026): a 30-day free trial with no credit card; PBX Starter from $495 a month for up to 10 experiments and 50,000 monthly tracked users; Enterprise custom. Strengths: fast test building without front-end help. Limits: no heatmaps or recordings listed on its plans page, so you may need a second tool for that.
Convert Experiences runs A/B and split URL tests on Growth and adds multivariate, multi-page, full stack and feature flag testing on Pro. Its plans include Convert Signals and heatmaps, and both Growth and Pro list a free VWO migration.
Pricing (as of October 2026): Growth $399 a month or $299 a month billed annually; Pro $599 a month or $420 a month billed annually, each for 100,000 tested users a month; Enterprise on request; 15-day free trial with no credit card. Strengths: clear prices and help moving from VWO. Limits: multivariate testing needs Pro.
Adobe Target runs A/B, multivariate and Auto-Allocate tests plus AI-driven Auto-Target and Automated Personalization, and connects to Adobe Analytics and Adobe Campaign.
Pricing (as of October 2026): not published on the Adobe pages we read. Strengths: one stack with Adobe's analytics. Limits: no public pricing, and using recommendations inside test activities needs a Target Premium license.
Zoho PageSense combines web analytics, heatmaps, session recording, funnels and form analytics with A/B, split URL and full stack testing and personalization. Like VWO, it puts behavior data and tests in one product.
Pricing (as of October 2026): a Forever Free plan for up to 5,000 monthly tracked users (analytics only); A/B testing and personalization come with the Enterprise plan, priced by monthly tracked users; a 15-day free trial needs no credit card. Strengths: testing and heatmaps together, with a free plan to start on analytics. Limits: testing is not on the free or Professional plans.
Crazy Egg combines heatmaps, recordings, surveys, web analytics and funnel reports with A/B testing, and higher plans target tests by device, country, UTMs and more.
Pricing (as of October 2026): A/B testing from Plus at $99 a month (150,000 tracked pageviews); Pro $249 a month; all plans billed annually with a 30-day free trial. Strengths: simple setup for small marketing teams. Limits: the Starter plan has no A/B testing, and targeting options grow with the plan.
PostHog Experiments run A/B, A/B/n, holdout, fake door and redirect tests with Bayesian or frequentist analysis, and you can watch session replays for each variant.
Pricing (as of October 2026): a free monthly allowance including 1 million feature flag requests, experiments billed with feature flags, and no minimum spend. Strengths: analytics, replay and tests in one tool. Limits: each experiment runs on a feature flag, which suits product teams more than marketers editing pages.
First decide whether you need to leave at all. If Wingify's plans fit and the product works for you, the rebrand alone is not a reason to migrate. If you do move, match the alternative to how you used VWO: heavy visual testing points to Kameleoon, Convert or Optimizely; testing plus heatmaps in one tool points to Zoho PageSense or Crazy Egg; testing inside the product points to PostHog. Export past results before you switch, since your test history is what tells you which ideas worked.
Tests are only as good as the segments and goals behind them. Our guide to combining segmentation and analytics covers the audience side, our roundup of website personalization software covers what to do with winners, and our roundup of marketing analytics tools covers where to measure results after a test ends.
Is VWO still available?
Yes, under a new name. VWO and AB Tasty announced their combination in January 2026, and in September 2026 the combined company launched as Wingify. vwo.com now redirects to wingify.com, and Wingify says existing VWO and AB Tasty customers do not have to start over.
Is AB Tasty an alternative to VWO?
Not any more. AB Tasty and VWO are now the same company, Wingify, so moving between them does not change vendor. Kameleoon, Optimizely, Convert and Adobe Target are independent alternatives for web experimentation.
Which VWO alternatives have free or low-cost entry points?
Zoho PageSense has a free plan for analytics and heatmaps, with A/B testing on its Enterprise plan, priced by monthly tracked users. Crazy Egg includes A/B testing from its Plus plan at $99 a month billed annually. PostHog has a free monthly allowance that covers experiments through its feature flag billing.
Which VWO alternative helps with migration?
Convert lists a free VWO migration on its Growth and Pro plans, and offers a 15-day free trial with no credit card.
