Short answer
Many websites still show every visitor the same homepage, whether they arrived from a pricing ad, a blog post or a cart reminder. Website personalization software changes that by swapping content, offers and product recommendations based on who the visitor is and what they have done. The tools below differ mainly in where they come from: some started in A/B testing and added personalization, others started in ecommerce recommendations and added testing.
Good first projects are the ones where the audience is easy to define and the outcome is easy to measure:
Measure each against a holdout group that still sees the default page. If a personalized experience does not beat the default for its audience, switch it off; every extra variation is something your team has to keep up to date.
A note on a tool you may remember: Google Optimize has not been available since September 30, 2023, so it is no longer an option. Personalization on the site also works best when it matches the messages people receive elsewhere; our guide to real-time personalization in customer engagement covers that side.
Each tool had to personalize website experiences for different audiences (not only run A/B tests), be sold to new customers in October 2026, and describe the capability on its own site. We read each description and any published price on the vendor's own site in October 2026. Because most vendors in this category quote prices, we say so where that is the case. We did not run paid trials.
| Tool | Starting point | Best for | Price (as of October 2026) |

| Dynamic Yield by Mastercard | Personalization and recommendations (Experience OS) | Retail, ecommerce and travel brands | Not published |
| Wingify (VWO and AB Tasty) | Experimentation | Mid-market teams moving from testing to personalization | Growth, Pro and Enterprise plans for web personalization; prices not shown |
| Kameleoon | AI experimentation | Teams that want prompt-based test building | Free trial and demo; plans page |
| Bloomreach | Ecommerce marketing, search and web personalization | Retailers that want one vendor for site and messaging | Not published; demo |

| Salesforce Personalization | Marketing Cloud add-on | Enterprises on Salesforce | $8,000 per org a month, billed annually |
Optimizely runs no-code web experiments with a visual editor or server-side tests, including multivariate tests and bandits, and uses behavioral data and experiment results to show the right experience to each audience. Its personalization uses AI agents that find opportunities and stage campaigns.
Pricing (as of October 2026): Optimizely says every plan is individually packaged. Strengths: rigorous testing behind every personalized experience, plus a CMS from the same vendor. Limits: no public pricing and an enterprise sales process.
Dynamic Yield's website now redirects to Mastercard, and its Experience OS connects personalization, discovery, recommendations, messaging, testing and analytics in one system. It personalizes recommendations, content and messages across web, app, email and SMS, with industry versions for ecommerce, grocery and travel.
Pricing (as of October 2026): not published. Strengths: deep product recommendation algorithms for catalogs. Limits: no published pricing or self-serve plan.
VWO and AB Tasty now sit together under Wingify, which sells separate plan families for web experimentation and web personalization. Personalization comes in Growth (for small teams getting started), Pro and Enterprise plans.
Pricing (as of October 2026): plan tiers are listed on the Wingify pricing page; prices were not displayed when we checked. Strengths: a Growth tier aimed at smaller teams, and testing and personalization from one vendor. Limits: prices are not shown publicly.
Kameleoon offers experimentation and personalization with Prompt-Based Experimentation (PBX), which lets you build test-ready variants of any page by chatting with its AI instead of coding.
Pricing (as of October 2026): a free trial and demo, with plans on its plans page. Strengths: fast variant creation for teams without front-end developers. Limits: no public price list.
Bloomreach lists web personalization next to email, SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, mobile app, ads and retargeting, product recommendations and ecommerce search, all on its Loomi AI platform.
Pricing (as of October 2026): not published; Bloomreach sells through demos. Strengths: site personalization and search that share data with campaigns. Limits: most valuable if you use several Bloomreach products.
Insider One is a customer engagement platform that covers website personalization along with messaging channels and a customer data layer.
Pricing (as of October 2026): custom, scoped around the channels and data volume you activate, with identity resolution included. Strengths: one profile for the website and every message. Limits: proposals vary, so compare scope line by line.
Salesforce sells Personalization as a Marketing Cloud add-on for web, mobile app and email personalization, and lists a higher Personalization+ edition for existing customers.
Pricing (as of October 2026): $8,000 per org a month, billed annually. Strengths: the only published price here, and native use of Salesforce data. Limits: a large commitment unless you already run Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
If your team already runs A/B tests, start with Optimizely, Wingify or Kameleoon and add personalization to audiences where tests show a clear difference. If you run a large catalog, the recommendation engines in Dynamic Yield, Bloomreach and Insider One matter more than the test editor. Either way, keep onsite personalization in step with email and SMS; our roundups of ecommerce marketing automation platforms and loyalty program software cover those layers, and our customer data platform comparison covers the data that feeds them.
What is website personalization software?
It is software that changes what a visitor sees on your site based on who they are and what they have done: different banners for new and returning visitors, product recommendations based on browsing, or offers for a specific segment. Most tools pair personalization with A/B testing so you can measure whether a personalized experience beats the default.
Which website personalization tools publish their prices?
Very few do. As of October 2026 Salesforce lists Personalization as a Marketing Cloud add-on at $8,000 per org a month, billed annually. Optimizely says every plan is individually packaged, and Dynamic Yield, Wingify (VWO and AB Tasty), Kameleoon, Bloomreach and Insider One sell through demos or quotes.
What is the difference between A/B testing and personalization?
A/B testing shows different versions to random groups to find one winner for everyone. Personalization shows different versions to different audiences on purpose. Platforms such as Optimizely, VWO and Kameleoon use test results to decide which experience each audience should get.
Is Google Optimize still available for personalization?
No. Google says Optimize and Optimize 360 have not been available since September 30, 2023, so it is no longer an option for testing or personalization.
