Short answer
Insider One sells a lot in one platform: customer data management, personalization, journey orchestration, analytics, AI agents and channels from email and SMS to WhatsApp, web push, app messaging and site search. That breadth is the appeal, and it is also why a replacement is rarely one product. Before you build a shortlist, list which of those pieces you actually use every week.
Insider announced its new name and visual identity as Insider One in December 2025, and useinsider.com now redirects to insiderone.com. Two bigger changes followed in 2026. In May, Insider One acquired Bluecore, a retail marketing technology company. In September, it introduced Agent One as a single system: Agent One Teams plans, creates and optimizes engagement for marketers, and Agent One Audiences runs customer-facing agents such as a Shopping Agent and a Support Agent. Its channel list covers web, email, site search (Eureka), conversational CX, WhatsApp, web push, InStory, app, and SMS and RCS.
None of these are flaws on their own. They are just the points where another platform can fit your team better.
Each pick had to run cross-channel journeys for B2C brands across at least email, push or SMS, be sold to new customers in October 2026, and describe its product and pricing model on its own site. We read each vendor's product and pricing pages in October 2026 and quote prices only where the vendor publishes them. We did not run campaigns on these platforms.
| Platform | Strength | Best for | Pricing (as of October 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Braze | Real-time cross-channel and in-app messaging | Large app-first and multi-market brands | Quoted: edition plus MAU and Action Credits; no free plan |
| Bloomreach | Marketing plus ecommerce search | Retailers replacing both journeys and Eureka search | $60K+ a year for most brands; platform plus usage fee |
| MoEngage | App and web engagement with analytics | Consumer apps with marketing-led teams | Growth and Enterprise quoted; 1-year minimum |
| CleverTap | Mobile engagement with built-in analytics | Apps that want a published entry price | Core $85 a month (up to 5,000 MAU); Pro and Ultimate via demo |
| Iterable | Cross-channel campaigns and Nova AI | Growth teams running lifecycle at scale | Not published; demo |
| Salesforce Marketing Cloud Next | Marketing inside the Salesforce CRM | Brands on Salesforce | Growth $1,500, Advanced $3,250 per org a month, billed annually |
| Klaviyo | Store-driven email, SMS and onsite | Small and mid-size ecommerce brands | Free plan; Email from $20 a month (500 active profiles) |
Braze covers email, push, SMS, MMS, RCS, WhatsApp, LINE, KakaoTalk, in-app messages, Content Cards, Banners and web messaging, with Canvas for journeys and the Braze Data Platform for warehouse sync and zero-copy segmentation. Every edition includes BrazeAI Operator, BrazeAI Agent Console and Content Optimizer.
Pricing (as of October 2026): quoted through Braze pricing; contracts combine a Platform Edition (Go, Select, Pro or Enterprise), Monthly Active Users and profiles, and a shared pool of Action Credits. No free plan, but trials and startup programs exist. Strengths: in-app depth and real-time triggers. Limits: no site search product, and credit-based billing needs careful forecasting. See how it compares in Klaviyo vs Braze and Braze vs Iterable.
Bloomreach sells Email (ESP), Marketing Automation (email, SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, mobile app, web personalization and ads) and Ecommerce Search, with Loomi AI inside each product, plus a Marketing Agent and a Shopping Agent. It is the closest match if you use Insider One's Eureka search as well as its messaging.
Pricing (as of October 2026): no rate card; Bloomreach's pricing page says most brands invest $60K or more a year, as a platform fee plus usage, billed annually. Strengths: search and messaging on one customer profile. Limits: Bloomreach says it is probably not a fit for low-volume programs. Our Bloomreach alternatives guide covers more.
MoEngage covers mobile push, web push, email, SMS, in-app and on-site messages, with content cards and connected channels such as WhatsApp, RCS, LINE, Viber and Telegram as add-ons. Merlin AI agents handle copy, creative and custom workflows, and MoEngage Personalize adds website personalization and A/B testing.
Pricing (as of October 2026): Growth and Enterprise plans are quoted (its plans page measures usage in monthly tracked users), with a one-year minimum commitment; see MoEngage plans. Strengths: app analytics and engagement together. Limits: several analytics and channel features are add-ons. Our MoEngage alternatives roundup goes deeper.
CleverTap combines analytics, segmentation and journeys with push, in-app, app inbox, web push and email, and sells WhatsApp and RCS as add-ons. CleverAI is built into every plan, and decisioning agents powered by its Tesseract engine are an add-on available on Ultimate.
Pricing (as of October 2026): Core is $85 a month for up to 5,000 monthly active users, with billing starting after a 30-day trial (taxes and add-ons extra); Pro and Ultimate are sold through a demo. See CleverTap pricing. Strengths: you can start self-serve. Limits: data retention is 3 years on Core and Pro, 10 years only on Ultimate. Our CleverTap alternatives list compares its peers.
Iterable sends campaigns and adaptive journeys across push, SMS, email and WhatsApp, plus a Catalog feature. Nova, its intelligence layer, covers insights, agents that build audiences, journeys and campaigns, and decisioning that picks the next best action within your guardrails.
Pricing (as of October 2026): not published; its pricing URL redirects to the Iterable home page, which offers a demo. Strengths: marketer control over audiences and journeys. Limits: no published entry plan to test cost against.
Marketing Cloud Next adds Agentforce campaign creation, multi-channel journeys and landing pages to the Salesforce CRM, with path experimentation and two-way SMS and WhatsApp on Advanced. Salesforce Personalization is a separate product.
Pricing (as of October 2026): Growth $1,500 and Advanced $3,250 per org a month, billed annually; Salesforce Personalization $8,000 per org a month. See Salesforce marketing pricing. Strengths: one CRM for sales, service and marketing. Limits: web and app personalization is a separate $8,000-a-month product.
Klaviyo, the self-described autonomous B2C CRM, covers email, SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, mobile push and in-app, social and onsite personalization, with Composer and Customer Agent as AI agents.
Pricing (as of October 2026): free for up to 250 active profiles; at 500 active profiles the Klaviyo pricing page estimates Email at $20 a month and Marketing at $90 a month. Strengths: low cost to start. Limits: no site search product, and it is built around store and shopper data.
Start from the pieces of Insider One you use. If it is mostly app messaging, shortlist Braze, MoEngage and CleverTap. If Eureka search matters, Bloomreach is the like-for-like move. If you live in Salesforce, price Marketing Cloud Next with Personalization. If you are a smaller store, Klaviyo will cost far less to start. Then run one real journey through each finalist. Our guide to journey orchestration tools explains what to test.
Is Insider the same company as Insider One?
Yes. Insider announced its new name and visual identity as Insider One in December 2025, and useinsider.com now redirects to insiderone.com. In May 2026 Insider One acquired Bluecore, and in September 2026 it introduced Agent One, combining Agent One Teams and Agent One Audiences.
How much does Insider One cost?
Insider One does not publish prices; you request a demo. Its $0 Migration offer says implementation, onboarding and professional services are included in the platform fee and that it offers one-year terms.
Which Insider One alternative is best for a mobile app?
Braze, MoEngage and CleverTap are the strongest app-first picks on this list. Of those three, only CleverTap publishes an entry price: its Core plan is $85 a month for up to 5,000 monthly active users, after a 30-day trial, as of October 2026.
Which alternative also does ecommerce site search?
Bloomreach. Insider One sells Eureka for site search, and Bloomreach is the alternative here that also pairs marketing with an ecommerce search product, priced from $60K or more a year for most brands.
Do any Insider One alternatives have a free plan?
Klaviyo has a free plan for up to 250 active profiles and 500 email sends a month. Braze says it has no free plan, and Bloomreach, MoEngage, Iterable and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Next list none on their sites; CleverTap offers a 30-day trial on Core.
